I decided to move my 3D Audio view to the root of my tree.  At present there's no way of doing this in one move, so I thought I'd try using the save / load view feature.  I saved the current view as 3D Audio view, then requested to create a new view.  The new view selection gizmo allowed me to select the view I just selected which I thought was quite neat, and then select root as the location where the views going.

I pressed OK and the view was created.

However the view wasn't in 3D.  So I customized the view and made it 3D.
However the view now shows my entire library not just audio...

So the question is... What did the save/load feature actually save or load?!

I'm willing to bet that the original saved view has no rules set under "Advanced > Set rules for file display" relying instead upon the "Use parent scheme rules for file display" setting.

When moved to the tree root, that would result in all existing library files being displayed.
I'm not sure about why the view setting changed.

Ah... Maybe there should be an option to save parent rules too.

While I'm here, the terminology is actually wrong here isn't it?
It should be export/import a view.
Everytime you click OK on customize view technically you are saving it.
This could be confusing to new users.
