Basic vs advanced options
« on: October 27, 2008, 10:24:04 am »

It seems like the issue of user difficulty/simplicity comes up pretty often - ie at one extreme, there are those like me who like to be able to customize everything, want macros, more expresions, user-defined variables etc... and those who prefer (or might need, like new users) to ignore the details and 'just have the *$%! thing work'.

So I'm curious if you've ever discussed the idea of having a dual-level setup (basic-level vs advanced-level) for menus & options?
