Brown Showed Up On My Door Step Today With Two Books From Amazon.Com

Addressed To 832 Not 834 Where I Live

It Was Raining, Dark, The UPS Guy Was Looking All Over The Street For Me

One Day I Found Out They Get Paid On How Many Packages They Deliver During The Day.  I Figured I Got Paid 3 Times That So It Was Not A Move Up For Me. I Do Like To Ware Shorts However, And I Would Not Need To Wear A Tie Every Day (And I Hate It).

The Girl In The Plain Brown Wrapper

And

The Long Lavender Look

Thanks Jim

Good job, Mark.  I'm glad Mr. Brown found you.

The books are about Travis McGee, who lives on a barge in the Florida Keys, and makes his living in the "salvage" business, getting stolen property back for people.  The characters and scenery are a lot of fun.  Lots of boat stuff.

The Reason I Said Something About The UPS Guy Is Because It Was Raining And It Was Dark, And He Kept Saying He Was Sorry To Bother me, And Apologyzing.

I Wonder To Think If He Was Reading What I Have Posted On My Door

I asked for UPS to pick up a parcel the other day from a residential address.
15 minutes after hitting submit on the internet the guy turned up in the van.
Turns out he was delivering something to another address on the street.
I was quite impressed that their systems alerted him to the fact that he could pick my parcel up so quick though!

I often wonder about there GPS navigation systems, they must have there route all mapped out for them in the computer to drive the lest miles in the lest time with out going back and forth over there route.

If not I could believe it would be complete Chaos

I read in the news recently how their mapping software calculates routes minimizing left turns, and thus saves a surprising amount of gas (spent idling waiting for lights to change or traffic to break).

Enjoy the wink King!

I always skip the Title Page, the Table of Contents, the Preface, and the Introduction.  Sometimes the first three or four chapters, too.  I've found I can read more books that way.
