Will there be a holiday price? (Just so I can buy it then as opposed to now.)

Secondly, when syncing, does Media Center convert videos? (Like, say a 720p video to a 480p video?)
If not, I know of something called 'Stacks'. Then, can we have two of the same videos, a 720p one and a 480p one stacked, so one is the HD one on my HDD, and the other is the SD one that would go on my player?
