Question about Cue Files and MC13
« on: November 04, 2008, 10:33:14 pm »

How does one use MC13 to burn a long mp3 and its accompanying cue file on a cd? Is there a document somewhere that explains the mechanics of this? I already use MC 13 to burn mp3 cds, just don't know how to incorporate the cue file.

Afterthought: Maybe MC13 can burn a number of mp3 files to a cd as one big file and automatically create a cue file??

For example, when I load a directory that contains a large mp3 file and it's corresponding cue file, I see both the large file and the cue file contents when I browse to that directory in my library.

I would imagine that if you burn the listed contents of the cue file to your cd, they should be burned as separate tracks, index-able by any regular cd player.

Trial and error will prove what works for you on your system. Blank CDs are still cheap, aren't they??
