I know the answer:no way is you burn mp3 cd

Anyone knowing about a way to get it?
To put a number before the artist name?
Or other tricks?

Look like the same problem with ECDC

It Would Be Nice, Some Users Have Asked For It.

Like Once In the Burner And Data Is Selected

The User Could Move The Files In The Proper Order, And With An Option

[X] Rename Files With Seq Number

This Should Render What Some Users Have Asked For.

King

Thank you for the answer on the other post. This will solve the problem for sure
To get the order i want,i put a number at the start of the artist name,1,2,3.At the same i put disc number ......
Like it i can burn a mp3 cd as i want it
But keep in mind that i burn only full albums. To do it with tracks is just a pain in ......

Having a disc player without tracks infos[no need to mess around with it with only full albums on the cd]i like to put the albums in a certain order, not a-b-c-d.....

Now,you have to write a special tag pluging :'remove number  at the start of artist name'

you can also use the Rename Rule

TRACK# - ARTIST - NAME

Rename The Files

Sure Not In Play List Order, But In Order Of The Album Track Number.

Unlike You And others This Does Not Bother Me But I Can See how It Woould Be A Nice Option Maybe For MJ9

Maybe We Can Get J River\JimH\Matt To Commit To Adding This Option.

Not sure if it is an easy thing to do.
Because all data is bound to Windows alphabetic order

From another post...

If you're burning data CD's (ie MP3's rather than CDA Audio) then the problem is really with the player/reader.
MJ burns them in order, but when read by typical devices, including your PC, they get read aphabetically.
One solution:
Before burning, copy the files to another directory (anywhere).
Import the copies and sort them by date. This should put them in the order in which they were copied.
Goto the properties dialogue box and under tools, "fill track numbers from list order".
Then, again under tools, "rename files from properties". As a template use say track#-artist-album or something of your choosing so long as track# comes first.
Now burn the tracks to the data CD and even when they are sorted alphabetically by a player/device they will still be in the order that you wish.
After burning delete the copies from you HD.
I do this all the time and while it may sound complex, I can do it for a CD full of say 10 folderised playlists in about 10 minutes.
Another target for a future wizard, along with crossfaded audio - Matt?

This just keeps coming up and I just keep posting the same reply.
