I don't see a problem.  Any third party plug-ins, viz?
None. Standard install.
My laptop at work does a better job. There is something about that new playbar and skins. Somebody posted that earlier already.

I am trying to use the link to YouTube with the settings: play the file inside the player.
MC13 starts a screen and says it has to install stuff, please wait.
I see 2 FFDShow icons popping up in my systemtray. Then it stops. No video or audio is shown and MC13 freezes. I have to kill it and start over.

Startup settings problem.  I have startup set to Audio....and "last exit setting", but no matter what view I have set when I exit...MC only starts with the 3D album view.

Can you not right click on the view method under the "Audio" section and select a view as default?

I don't believe so...It doesn't show that option when I right click an audio view?

When selecting music from 3D wall, MC will play about 2 seconds of the song and then silently exit (crash).  I can play the same music if I select it from panes view. I have tried this with several different artists/songs.

After reboot, both machines are working now.

When playing some MP3 streams, MC will hang for just a few seconds, but it will happen every ~5-10 seconds continually. The stream will play normally, but the UI becomes unresponsive during this time. It seems that if MC has been open for a while then it will play for about 3 seconds and crash (the error report is here, will disappear in a few days), but then when I launch it and play the stream again it (usually) just does the micro-hangs while playing the stream.

It seems to do this for pretty much any stream, but here is one example (my local NPR station): http://stream1.opb.org/radio.mp3

One thing to try is running MC with administrator privileges.  Right-click on the MC shortcut and select "Run as administrator".  You could also try the same "Run as administrator" trick with the ffdshow video configuration shortcut.

Some operations like registering a DLL or codec can require full "Run as administrator" access.  But usually that's done during the install when the install program gets bumped up to full administrator.  Sound like maybe ffdshow didn't get fully installed or maybe the ffdshow installer didn't get bumped up to full administrator properly.

I can not seem to figure this one out. I have tried to run MC 13 on two differenent PCs and continue to get a crash when doing an Auto import of the music. I have created new Libraries starting from scratch and the one I imported from 12 that now will not work with 12.

Could you send the full log to matt at jriver dot com?  The snippet you posted doesn't show the last thing the thread that crashed was doing.

Thanks!

I like the 'save view' option.
Normally I use this to share this view with others, per mail.
It would be nice to have an option: 'send view'.

I can't reproduce this.  Perhaps there's a problem with the image?

Could you share the URL or email the image you're using to matt at jriver dot com?

Thanks.
Same here, a paste from clipboard results in a plain white square.

This was posted in Replay #18, #18 & #20 of this topic... but there wasn't resolved... It seems that they are working on this and I hope there will be a solution in the next release.
There is a workaround which is copy and paste the link of the image, and it work fine.
To copy existing images in your computer it has to be used copy from file...

Anyway... I miss very much this useful function dear guys from MC!!!

This will be fixed in the next build, which we hope to make available by the middle of this week.

I can no longer rotate any of my jpg files in MC13 - I get 'failed to rotate' errors.  Same files still rotate fine in MC12.  Is this a known bug or something I did wrong ?!
