NotZippy: Program Crashes
« on: November 17, 2008, 10:09:44 am »

From NotZippy:

This crash is happening every time I play music about 80 - 100 seconds into a song I am not doing anything else with MC13 while it is playing in a background window. This only happens in MC13.069, not MC12.

Thanks for the logs.

Please try disabling third-party plugins for a while.  The only thing happening in the log around the crashes is SDK access.

Let us know what you find.

I've just had the same thing several times in a row.  Have disabled third party plugins and it does the same thing.

I get the message
Quote
Media Center has encountered critical error #21.  Some essential component is missing or corrupted.
Please uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Media Center.  If this error persists, report it to JRiver.

I will try uninstalling and reinstalling now.

I thought disabling plugins would be in the Plugin manager but could not find it there
I finally was able to "crash" it making the option to disable the plugins appear on startup (which I did)

So how do you disable 3rd party plugins normally ? Or is it called something else ?

With the plugins disabled it did not crash while playing a song.
