Author Topic: lost registration number AND apparently a bad previous email address  (Read 1823 times)

Hi folks,

I must be doing something wrong, however when I attempt to retrieve my registration code using the steps noted in the FAQ, the system does not recognize my old or new email address.  I'm running Mediacenter 12 on one drive and I'm building a new XP pro on a secondary drive.  Everything is great on the original drive, however the new drive has the "trial" version.  Any and all help appreciated.

Hi Gerry,

Try using your gerryc2007 at gmail dot com email address.  If that's a problem, just let us know.

I entered gerryc @ gmail.com as the original address and my new email address as comeau.gerald @ gmail.com, received "Sorry, we could not find any Registration Codes for that e-mail". I went back and tried comeau.gerald @ gmail.com and received the same message.

Now then, when I look at my "old disk" and click on registration info (under help), it indicates that I'm registered:

Product:      Media Center 12.0.534 (registered)
Registered To:   Gerald L. Comeau

I think you missed the c2007 part of the old address.

Anyway, I changed your account to comeau.gerald @ gmail dot com.  Please try restoring from that address.
