Adding PowerDVD 8 (Cyberlink) mpeg2 as the Default Filter
« on: January 13, 2009, 09:23:10 am »

I would like to use the PowerDVD Filters to view my mpeg files as I believe the video quality is better.  I checked the filter list and while there are many there for Cyberlink but none directly say mpeg.  I tried each one with no success.  Any thoughts?  I can provide the filter list I do see.  I just don't have access to it at the moment.  I did look through the FAQ and did a search but did not see what I needed.  Course I could have missed something.

Thanks!

I have only PowerDVD 7. Its DVD/MPEG2 video decoding filter is "CyberLink Video/SP Decoder(PDVD7)".

Thanks Alex!

That was too easy.  Added as you said except it was indicate a DVD8 instead of DVD7.

Thanks Again!
