I'm new to Media Jukebox  but like the ability to download podcasts and sync it to my Mobile Phone ( Which plugs into my car stereo so i can listen on way to work etc)

I'm using a HTC Touch with an 8Gb SDHC card, and it shows up fine in MJ.
I setup a few podcasts to syn with the device and click on 'Sync Now'

At that point it goes through all the podcast tracks listed as 'In Queue'   to sync them  but seems to change the status to 'Uploading 100%' straight away (too fast to actually trasnfer anything)  and then 'Error'
It goes though all the tracks like this, every time I try. But no tracks/podcasts are put on the device.

Anything I'm missing here ?   It is using Vista and the phone and card show up in it as a 'Portable Device'  without a drive letter and I was wondering if that has an effect on it ?

Any help appreciated.

Nobody got any suggestions ?

Windows Media Player will not sync too- I think that is due to messed up media rights but none of the suggested fixes I can find work.
I think I may have to wipe my pc and reinstall

So any suggestions in the meantime would help.

I believe the podcasts need to be on your PC (downloaded) before you can sync them.

Try syncing a few MP3 files by dragging and dropping.

If the phone doesn't show up as a drive in Windows, it may not work.  Maybe it will in MTP mode.

Wiping your PC probably won't have any effect.

I've found a solution.

I'm using a freeware Windows Mobile application on my phone - WM5torage. It makes the phone show up as a mass storage device with a drive letter when i connect it.

It's currently trasferring my podcasts as I type this
