annoying "mouse click" sound between tracks

When double-clicking on a new track to play, and in the transition between two tracks, MC makes a small 'click' sound- just like your typical mouse-clicking-on-a-link sound. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I've tried looking at all the settings I can find to stop this happening. It's really annoying.

Any help?

Possibly windows control panel -> system sounds -> windows explorer -> start navigation / complete navigation?
