I deal with only video and convert ALL to AVI for ease of use with my media player.  The last three conversions import into newly imported items but have no duration and when I change the Genre to the proper information the movie does not show up in that playlist (which is set up by Genre).  All the conversions are being done using Xilisoft and the last three were from MKV or VOB.  Any Ideas on whats going on?  I'm assuming that the items are not showing up because of missing duration but it might be some other reason.

Apparently it's internal format.  If I re-convert back to DVD then Rip the DVD format with different software then everything is ok.
