Cleaning up the interface
« on: January 12, 2009, 07:22:20 pm »

Maybe I have to create/modify a skin to do this, but I'm wondering if there's a way to do this under General or something.  I want to get rid of some options I won't use so that it won't look so cluttered (mostly so it doesn't intimidate the wife).  The items/menus I want to get rid of:

Google, Images, Wiki, Youtube links
Start, Podcasts, Drives and Devices, Services and plug-ins
The Action Window
Audio, Images Video links
File, View, etc. menu options at the top (I don't want users to mess with it)

Finally, can the system tray be covered by Media Player?  I want it to look like a real jukebox screen instead of a Windows interface.

You might play with Theater View.

Wow, that's cool, yet simple.  Good option to know about.  Thanks.
