i work with a lot of text and htm files within MC
when i import .txt or .htm, MC grabs the data within those files and put it in the field
Text, and thats brilliant
my question is, can i change some settings to be able to grab text from other fileformats like for example .xml or .nfo or any custom filetype..these are textfiles (sortof)
i added my "textfiles" to FileAssociations.xml as
..text/plain</Item> (but nothing changed)
i have also associated the file as a textfile in explorer/folder options
i mean if i change a textfile mc
.txt to mc
.text , nothing has changed except the extension, its the same file, but
MC grabs the text only from .txtany ideas ?
also associated to this, MC can't handle unicode text when grabbing text from a html document
