This seems to be the catch-all forum...
« on: February 28, 2009, 10:08:13 am »

So here goes.  What the heck are the rules/limits for avatars?  There is clearly a "size" limit but I've been unable to figure outwhether it is height, width or file size.  I've looked in all the places where I would expect it to be laid out but no joy.  I just know it won't accept the one I use everywhere else, (a photo of my amplifier: H=125, W=235, FS=24K) or the smaller one (H=79, W=149, FS=18.1K)  ?

Look at mine (left) and follow its dimensions.  That's what I did long ago when I created my branded LIGHTNING-BOLD persona.  lol.

95x90

235x125 is significantly larger.  Way too big.

I use it from time to time.

I guess I'll have to create another one  :(

Pull it into your favorite photo editor and resize it / crop it to about the size I listed.
