How can I filter based on number of files in a folder
« on: April 09, 2009, 08:43:59 pm »

Hi I would like to create a smartlist that only show the files that are alone in a folder. Is there anyway to achieve this? The is no field for FilesNumber or something like this.

Thx

First, create a smartlist using the following rule: [media type]=audio ~dup=[filename (path)] (click on the "Import/Export" button and paste in the blue text)

Next, create a second smartlist and set the rules using the wizard; there are only two required...

The first rule is "Media Type is Audio"

and the second part is "playlists is not any use the drop down menu to select the smartlist you created above"

Press OK.

The files you see in this second smartlist are files that, as far as MC is concerned, are alone in their directories.
