Hello,

I store Photos, Music & Videos on my WHS
In J River MC setup, I set an specific shared  "JRiver cover" folder on WHS to store all the Music and Video cover arts from JR MC13 ( and JR Jukebox)
I used MC12 from a while, then, now, from its launching, MC13 with all its updates

Problem:
In the WHS "JRiver cover" folder, the thumbnail names have different syntax names because it seems that the syntax has changed with MC versions and updates :

Example of Music & Video thumbnails founded in my "JRiver cover" folder :

-01_04_2007.jpg
-06_04_2006 01_29.jpg
- Dawson's Creek.jpg
(Multiple Artists) - Godzilla.jpg
10,000 B.C.jpg
00016.jpg
Danii Minogue - I Begin To Wonder.jpg
Video - Andrews.jpg

It seems to me that the more recent used syntax is :

For the videos :   "Video - Video.Name.jpg"
and
For the Musics :   "Artist.Name - Song.Name. jpg"

-> Is-it Ok ?

-> Does J River fixed this syntax now ?

-> What about the old syntax names ? : Must-we manually convert them ?

-> Why "Video - "  has been added at the beginning of the thumbnail name for Video ?

This last syntax is no more understood by others :

The more usual syntax, used and/or understood by other media center programs, or by NMT (Networked Media Tanks) is:

For the Videos :  (exact Video.FileName.jpg
and
For Music : (exact) Song.FileName.jpg

Note that Picasa3 uses also this same syntax for Videos thumbnails in its command : "Export (videos in a folder) as html page"

What about an "unified" syntax for Music and Videos thumbnails ?
<original_mediafile_name>.<jpg>

This syntax would be recognized by hardw. players (NMT..) , and by softw. players like Windows MP, MCE, etc..
No chance ?
