Which gadgets are people using for basic control of MC?

Does someone have a really-mini skin setup that can be docked in the sidebar?

I've just now started to play with Windows7 in preperation for a series of tests at work.  I have it running in three VMs on my laptop and want to set up one of the VMs as my personal sanbox.  naturllay, this includes an install of MC and all the fixin's

To me...

Gadgets == meh.

Despite being initially excited about it when it first came out, I find that I never use the Dashboard in OSX for anything other than the Calculator and looking at a calendar (and those uses are rare enough). I certainly don't use the Vista sidebar (first thing that gets turned off).  The Windows 7 implementation is much better, but there still aren't any gadgets worth having, really.  Nothing spectacular, that's for sure.
