I've used your VS 2005 template as a base for PVD import. Thanks by the way, great work!

Now, for some skins, the text is hardly visible in the plugin window. Do you know how to fix this? My google fu has failed me...

Hmm that's interesting.  No ideas tbh.
I think if I remember, there maybe a setting somewhere to turn off skinning for the plugin.
This maybe a registry change I can't remember.

I figured it out: Remove all the skinning calls *within* the plugin. Both initialization and skinning change event...
