Delete from NAS always permanent?
« on: May 01, 2009, 01:15:22 am »

I mainly use "delete from MC and send to Recycle Bin". It seems that when the files are on my NAS drives, they will be permanently deleted even when I use this delete option. Is this correct and can it be avoided?

Thanks, Olle

Windows uses the recycle bin system only with local partitions. Files deleted over the network are deleted directly without moving them anywhere. Maybe there are programs that can create "network recycle bins", but Windows won't do it natively.
