Does MC 13 has Dynamic volume control possible ?
It means "boost for low volume and reduce for High volume" automatically that keeps sound more powerful.
I found only Clip protection(reduce High output) or No control.

Media Center includes Replay Gain support which is arguably the best volume leveling system there is.

It's sounds like op wants dynamic compression. I big no no in my book, makes music sound flat and fatiguing.

Someone assist me. Have posted re 'levelling' volume output before, usual methods suck. What we need is a way of 'levelling' the output volume of everything without the usual side effects! We are talking inreasing/decreasing the db of all files to a set level not 'normalisation' as it is commonly known.

Thats as clear as mud! I can explain if necessary whaen my head is less fuzzy

Hi!

I have trouble with the outputvolume, too.

I´m using mp3s, wmas and mkv-musik-videos (most DTS, some in AC3)
in my Playlists. The volume of the mp3s and the wmas is fine, but the
mkvs have different volume-levels (of course) and when they are in AC3, the sound
isnt loud enough.

I dont want to normalize them, a simple volume-adjustment for each Soundfiles would be
great. All equaliser-Plugins i have tested arent working with MC13.......why?

Someone have an idea? I dont want to make new mkvs with a normalized ac3-file. Is their
an easier way?
