Any Tips/Tricks For Large Libraries? (>400K MP3s)

I have over 400K in MP3s on several drives in my system. I am seeing a lot of 'hang time' with MC13 trying to load the library or do searches. Is there any optimization that I can do in the program to improve performance?

Why dont you describe the system you have, is the media local or networked ?

Are your thumbs built ?

Many possibilities until we get a better picture :)

Can you also give an idea of how long 'hang time' is.

the PC is an AMD Athelon Duel core with 4GB ram and Vista.
Drives are all SATA II

Thumbs built? No, that option was not checked when i serched for it so I checked it and am re-running the import right now.
