Please I need Help-MC13 on Vista does not play avi,divx or xvid

Hello,
I need some Help please, I have MC 13, Vista und bouhght the Code.
I can play mp3, but he plays no other films. he is loading but nothing
happend and when I stop it, programm tells me the program does not work please close.
Where is the problem ?
Thanks for Help

PS. if i play a DVD i have no Sound

You may not have DirectShow filters installed.

Please see the Wiki (link above) and read about DirectShow.  Installing CCCP usually solves problems like this.
