Syncing play counts

Hi everyone,

With apologies, as I seem to always be asking questions and never giving anyone answers, and here I go again.  Still learning I suppose.

I just wondered about play counts and syncs.  Should MC13 be noticing the number of times a track is played on a portable device and updating the play count in the main library when it syncs (like iTunes does on an iPod)? 

Mine doesn't, and I wondered if that was a problem with my set-up, or if it was normal.

The player is a Cowon S9, if that matters.

Currently the ability to sync play counts is only available for iPods.

It's often quite slow to read play counts from Plays for Sure (WMDM) devices and play counts don't exist on drive-style devices.

It might be a nice option for WMDM devices in the future.
