Internet radio question, again
« on: June 01, 2009, 08:17:20 pm »

How do I make these stations

http://www.vtuner.com/vtunerweb/static/staticUnitedStates-Georgiaoverall101X110.html

play in MC13 instead of Media Player?  I've changed most every File Type in Explore to look at Media Player, including CDA and MP3, but it still opens MP.  Help.

Some seem to be working for me, others aren't ..... but in MC13 go into Tools, Options, Filetypes and make sure the very last option "Windows Media (asx, asf,wm) is set to YES and also try other playback methods if Automatic doesn't work.

You may also need to set some other associations as well if there are different file types used.

Hope this helps...

Richard

Hey, made the change and I"m trying it, but I keep getting the message "Invalid menu handle", whatever that means.

Hmm, not sure..might need Matt for this one.

I tried the first station on that page and it worked.  Maybe try using the media player engine for the playback method and see if that help.

What does your last sentence mean?  How do I use the Media Player engine for playback?
