auto import in the background

i have set up to auto import in the background
what sort of delay should be experienced before new additions appear in MC ??

You can run the import manually by picking Import and going through the auto-import wizard.  This allows you to force a run and see progress.

Once the initial import is done, changes on disk should be picked up by the program in a couple minutes.

I run auto import on files dropped into my music directories.  I can't recall if there was ever an exception, but it is almost never more than than one minute for me.  I have occasionally run a manual import when I can't stand that kind of delay.
