I'm trying to fill out the name, album and year for imported movies by using "Fill properties from filename", but I can't really get it to work.

So, say the movie is in a folder named "My movie (2008)". Then go to "Fill properties from filename" and check "Directories".
If I enter [Album], the movie's album get the folder name. Fine enough, but what if I want to use the date?
If I then use [Album] ([Date]), Alum is filled out as before, but the date field contains "1905-06-30"! If I change [Date] to [Year], I get the following: 2008-06-30. It's getting there... but why is it entering months and days? I can manually change the date field to 2008, but what's the fun in that?

So, how do you do the date thing?
