I purchased Media Center 14 in December, and have needed some help with a technical issue.  I have posted the problem on this forum, but have not received any response.  I think at least a little bit of technical support should come with a product that costs 50 bucks.  I have received immediate, personalized support on products that were much cheaper.  If anyone with the company is actually reading this forum, please respond.  Thank you!

For the record, I am not "with the company", and your query, regarding duplicate files when ripping, can be found here.

While I appreciate and understand your frustration, this forum is the only means of support for Media Center 14, and on the whole, the system works reasonably well. There is a thread called "Is this the only support?" near the top of this forum that contains, among a lot of other tips, the following advice:

What if I don't get an answer?
If you don't get an answer in the first 24 hours, post a reply to your own question.  This is called a bump and it will bring your post to the top again.  Consider using the "modify" option to change your subject or to edit your question.  

If your subject is accurate, and your question is concise, and you still don't get an answer, it usually means that nobody knows the answer.

After reading your post, I have some thoughts, but no definitive answer for you, sorry.
I'll add my thoughts, which will also serve to bump your problem back to the top of the forum, where someone with more insight, possibly someone from JRiver even, may be able to offer other suggestions.
