Facebook uploader - working?
« on: July 02, 2009, 05:35:29 pm »

I can't get the facebook uploader to load a picture to facebook. I assume it is meant to be working - does anyone know what limitations there are?

for instance, will it only allow certain file sizes/resolutions? I can't remember what restrictions facebook has, but I assumed that whatever they are, MC is factoring them in and converting the pictures as part of the upload process.

Either way, assuming this issue isn't just something specific to me, I guess there's some room for improvement - either in terms of error handling (i.e. at least telling me it hasn't worked - MC actually claims it has, facebook just shows no sign of it) or in terms of doing something to make it more likely to work in the first place.

Image size: 1280x1024.
Rightclick image.  Send to > gallery > facebook.
Facebook login prompt comes up.
You may now close this window.
Facebook uploader appears.
Upload to existing album properly displays the album names from the site.
Chose upload to new album and gave it a name.

Got error message.

Emailed log file.

Seems to be working for me.  Is it still broken?
