MC-14 Import not showing all files

Hey All,

I just installed MC-14 and imported my movie files, avi's...  When I go into video it is only showing 40 out of the 180 movies that i have on the hard drive.  When I go to recently imported, it shows they were all imported, but they aren't showing anywhere else.

You're probably missing the DirectShow filters you need.

Your files were probably imported as audio, but you can change the media type in the tag.  Read about CCCP and Directshow in this thread:

They often show up as Media Type "Data", change them all the "Video" (Select them all and select "Tags" in the action pane on the left then find "Media Type" ) and you will be able to find them again.

This happens if MC can't open them for some reason usually a filter issue as Jim suggested but can be other things too.

So make sure they play in MC14, then you will know if that's the issue.
