viewscheme help

I want to create a category 'when imported' in a view. Rather than using absolute time-references, I would like to be able to choose between say "this year", "this month", "this week", "today" and "earlier". How could this be done? /OLle

Based on my work flow I'd recommend using a 'Panes & Details' view scheme. Then call one of your panes "Imported" with a Type of 'Search List'. In the search list you can make several searches on 'Date Imported' (e.g. [Date Imported]=<1w).
Personally, I find this setup to be one of the most flexible for viewing/browsing my collection using a wide variety of search strings.
Hope this helps,
JB
