importing new music and lost playlists

Colleagues, I've been a long time member and seldom (if ever) whine about the product; however I continue to fumble with trying to import new artist folders (I get a total of 0 new records) and for some strange reason I lost all of my most recent playlists (couple of hours building them) for what reason I haven't a clue.  So, unfortunately it's time for me to say good-bye, I spend too much time trying to figure out how to reverse engineer the user manual.

MC makes automatic backups.  You could try restoring one, under File/Library.

I did reload a back up library and my playlists weren't there.  Also, I rip my CD's in MC but I've had severe troubles importing them.  I downloaded just the music jukebox and I'll give it a whirl.
