I'm curious if I can configure MC14 to use the Xonar soundcard as a single zone that will output audio only through both the HDMI and S/PDIF ports simultaneously?

My old media server mobo had on-board audio with both optical and coax digital out.  This worked great with MC and allowed me to output music to both of my AV devices (Denon 3808 via coax and Onkyo 885 via optical) at the same time.

My new mobo has no on-board audio, nor any PCI slots, so I need a PCI Express sound card, and I have not been able to locate any with both optical and coax digital outs.

My hope is that the Xonar will allow this, and at the same time open up the possiblity of sending higher quality audio to the Onkyo pre/pro since the path will be upgraded to HDMI.
