Currently MC14 uses "database" view when you want to display all details and relevant tag/field info for each album. This view is great when organizing and editing your music library but not really when you just want to play music. The problem with database view is that it shows too much repetitive information for a given album, while that space could have been used to show another album. I'm no expert on this subject, but I'm sure there are ways to use screen space more efficiently by creating a view that combines duplicate fields into one.

Also, the album view can be improved to another level if hovering over an album would show an overlay of the tracklist so you don't have to go to detailed view to select them. This would put the art closer to music.

Hopefully this makes sense, if you want I can sketch some examples.
