I've got a glitch in MC 14. When I rip cd's it will automatically start ripping every time, even though I have the box checked to ask me every time whether or not to rip. If I close the MC down and then rip a cd it will ask me whether or not to rip. What gives??

Is another version of MC also installed (and set to rip)?

Also (and this may have already been obvious to you...), make sure you press the "Close" button down in the bottom left after you rip your first disc. If you don't do that then it will continue to rip every time you put a disc in.

If I close the MC down and then rip a cd it will ask me whether or not to rip.

Based on that, it sounds like this could be what's happening. I don't think there's a way to prevent this behavior.

I finally figured out that I had to close the rip after every one. Thanks for your help..
