Playlists - calculating the time of!
« on: September 01, 2009, 02:13:57 pm »

Is there an easy way of seeing how long a playlist will run for, without having to insert a CD and go through a pseudo Burn process to find out?

In MMJ the playlist length (time) was instantly visible as part of the playlist wrap.

When you view a playlist (or any other file view) the statusbar at the bottom of the program will show the number of files, size, and duration.

The statusbar summarizes the selected files and shows all files when there's no selection.

Thanks for the response - it is the old woods and trees thing.  I work by having the library in the main view and drag tracks into the playlist which is in the action window. Consequently I was looking/expecting the total time to show in the action window - which is doesn't.

Now I have the playlist in the main view it is visible right at the bottom.

Thanks again
