What is up with the iMac running MC??!  THEATER VIEW!  3d stuff isn't supported in virtualization software from my attempts (with the software I was using).

Working fine in Parallels here for me under Windows 7.  Not sure what problems you're having.

Also works, but not heavy-duty tested, on VirtualBox as follows:

Hackintosh hardware -> OSX Leopard -> Virtual Box 3.0.4 -> XP and/or Vista and/or Win7 build 7229.

I'm not planning on moving the hackintosh to SnowLeopard for a few weeks, waiting for the rest of the fanbois community to wring the bugs and vulns out.

But anyway, MC and Theater View works for me there.

When I tried MC in Virtual Box running on XP it gave me an error message relating to Direct 3D.  Good to know.

VirtualBox has experimentally supported Direct 3D for 6 months or so.  You should try it in your environment to be sure.
