Main Scheduler in MC14?

I'd like to set a main scheduler to wake-up my media center out of 'sleep' state to 'awake', start MC14, play music... would be cool to wake up with music...

and to set something like XX minutes by remote control commands and the system automatically goes into 'sleep' state

Possible?

If yes, how?

I know it would be easy to solve, like a cron job in Linux, but is it somewhere built in?
