Real Audio conversions
« on: September 18, 2009, 02:51:53 am »

Hi Guys, since updating to V14 I cannot convert my .rm audio files to convert to MP3. I have now rolledback to V12 - which was working before- uninstalling all reg entries on the way and now running V12. However, when I try and convert .rm to .mp3 i get a message "Please ensure your file exists and is of a supported type" when looking at the file type icon the .rm audio file shows up as a video file not an audio file. Please help??

I think the 'File Type' will be wrong, change it in it's tag.

A .rm file would usually be played with the Real Player engine.  To convert those files, you'd need to install a DirectShow filter.  I believe it's called "Real Alternative" and you may find info on our wiki.

You can edit the "Media Type" in the tag to move it from Video to Audio.
