Any suggestions for tagging software that does lyrics
« on: September 24, 2009, 08:34:37 pm »

I've been using Tag Runner. I constantly fight it because the lyrics it finds are:

totally wrong
incomplete
not formatted
or not found at all

If anyone has had luck with other products, I would appreciate the input.

I gave it a try.

It does appear to work pretty well, so I purchased a full license.

I only have one problem with it that I'm working on. After I save the changes in jaikoz, I do an import into MC to pick up the external changes. I then look at these updated lyrics with a MC plug-in (Lyrics Editor). When I look at them with Lyrics Editor, there are no line breaks. It is just a long string of text. If I then look at the lyrics using the MC Tag editor, they look OK. If I go back to Lyrics Editor, they are also OK. So something is not right with the lyrics until the tags are read by MC.

Interesting, but it sounds like it's working? This could be just what I need since the demise of SPARTA's plugin.
