MC14 - Internet Proxy Feature Request
« on: July 15, 2009, 02:52:20 pm »

Any chance you can change MC14 so that it has its own internet proxy settings? I don't use IE (the current configuration method for MC's proxy), and even if I did, I sometimes like to have my web browser use a different proxy then what MC uses.

I'd like to cast my vote for this as well. Network/Proxy support in MC would rock!

Just to be clear, MC can use a proxy.  You just need to set it in IE.

I'm a little afraid of this because it seems like a support issue.

It seems reasonable to say: make IE work, then MC will work.

The problem with using IE's settings is precisely that, you are tied to whatever IE uses. I would like to be able to have proxy settings independent of IE.
