Drag and Drop not working in Windows 7 64-bit.
« on: October 04, 2009, 01:14:51 pm »

I have windows 7 64-bit, but drag and drop is not working in J- River media Center (14.071). If i have a mp3-file and try to drag it to the "playing now"-window i just get a stop-sign, and nothing is happening. It also seems like just double-clikcing the file does nothing. Is this a known issue or some oddness with my computer?

Drag and Drop appears to work fine on my machine running Win7 64-bit. You using an RC version or the released version?

The released version. Very odd stuff. I'll try to do some research to see if the problem only turns up in some conditions.

Remember that you can't drag between elevated and non-elevated processes.  It's a UAC thing.

Thanks for the tip, seems like media center was running elevated. After restarting it non-elevated, it works. However i have a secondary problem, even though i have selcted "Double click - add to playing now (play next)" under  General Options - Behaviour, when i double clik on a file, its added to the end of the playing now playlist, and imidiatly started.
