How to turn off automatic update/upgrade

I have searched high and low for where the automatic update setting is and for the life of me can not find it.
Every time I open MC it asks me to download 14.xxx which doesn't really have enough benefit over 13 for my
use so it is getting a bit annoying.

its under
tools>options>startup>startup actions>disable check for updates every...

 :)
