Programming a "STOP" in Play mode (for us old radio guys)
« on: October 31, 2009, 10:08:45 am »

I occasionally do a streaming radio show using MC.  I've built playlists and smartlists to handle rotation and seperation of artists.  However, being an old radio guy that is used to the software that allowed you to hit the space bar or an F-key while a song was playing to either cue or stop the next song, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to do this in MC.

Basically, I want to build a playlist in which I play two songs in a row that I can cue to start with an F-key or space bar and while the second song is playing can hit either the same or another key that would prompt MC to pause at the end of the second song so I can open mic thru my mixer and talk.  Then, when I am finished talking, I hit the space bar or F-key to begin play of the next set of two songs.  Of course I would put the playlist out of shuffle mode so it would run in order.
