No Sound
« on: November 07, 2009, 11:47:53 am »

No matter which version of Jukebox I download, I cannot get any sound.  There is sound in every other application I'm running, just not in Jukebox.  ?

I'm having the same problem with MJ 12.  Sometimes files will appear to be playing but there's no audio.  Stopping the file and restarting will sometimes fix the problem, sometimes not.  I haven't noticed the file type each time it's happened, but the last time it was a WMA file.  Anyone have any idea as to the cause of this?

Thanks

I may have the same problem. I just installed Media Jukebox for the first time. I can't play any of my mp3 and flac-files. I do get a sound though, it is just heavily distorted into loud noise. I don't have this problem when i use any other media player. I use windows XP. I've tried to uninstall and install again. I am really puzzled by this, and need some suggestions.

In Playback Options, try switching between DirectSound and Wave Out.

Good.  It may be a driver problem.

Thanks very much.  I'll try that the next time it happens.
