Does this bypass My soundcard?
« on: December 03, 2009, 12:47:19 pm »

Using MJ 12 with Windows 7. Just hooked up a Benchmark DAC1 USB. Got no sound at first, so I went to playback options>output mode settings, and found benchmark 1.0 in the device drop down. Bingo, sounds good. Then went to DSP and output format and set bit depth to 24, and sample rate to 96,000. Sounds even better. Output mode is direct sound. So am I still running through the sound card?

Thanks for the reply. WASAPI isn't available in MJ 12, but I'm really happy with the sound I've got now, and I'm fussy. ;D Thanks for a great program.
