My Photos and Music
« on: December 13, 2009, 11:43:44 am »

We have used Media Center for a long time and really enjoy it. I have two questions, sort of related.
  • How can I display my photos as a slide show and play music at the same time. I thought at one time I could do this, perhaps with Jukebox but now in V14, which we are trialing, it seems it is one or the other.
Of course all the photos and music has been imported... just do not know how to get both going at once.
  • Id like to do the same across DLNA into a LG Blu Ray player BD-390.
I can see the MC server on the LG and play a song or slide show a folder of pictures....
Can I play a play list of songs across DLNA?
Will there be more DLNA capability?

You can do this two ways.
1.  Make a mixed playlist.
2.  Start audio playback, and without stopping it, start image playback.
How you have options set under General/Behavior may matter.

This should work.  Try the latest build from the top of this board.

If not, let us know what you find.

More is coming.  Watch the thread on this topic.  It is also on this board.
