install problems

Hi, have been a MC user for years.  Just upgraded to 14.  I have a new laptop which I am trying to install MC 14 on for the first time.  It freezes up during the install process at the following point:

Initializing KB902344 MTP Hotfix.

Any ideas on why this is doing that and what I can do?

I have tried everything.  Install several times, reboots, etc.

Never mind.  Just fixed the problem.  Aparently Windows Media (which i dont use) had to be updated.  After updated it MC instal fine.
