When I specify an external encoder (hydrogen audio compile of lame.exe) and select "Rip and encode simultaneously" it does not occur. The next track rip does not start until the encode of the previous track is complete. The rip and encode proceed without error, just slower

Also, sometimes the process never completes. After the last track is encoded, instead of the rip/encode modal window changing, it does nothing and does not respond until I press the upper-right close button. Then MJ crashes.

are you using the external exe?, if so that might not work.

if your using MJ8 and "MP3 Encoder" it should.
